First saw Dogs at The Flapper & Firkin in Birmingham, must of been around 2009/10 ish. Actually went there to see At The Zoo who were one of your support acts. They actually played for my Sunday League footy team at the time and were a cracking band. Anyways, we only had time to see the first couple of Dogs songs untill we had to catch the last train back to Tamworth. But those first few songs were that good that we thought f*ck it, and stayed till the end and so missed our train. The band blew me away and i then looked to buy anything i could by the band. Roll on around 12 months or so and i took some other friends to see you in Cheltenham, making a weekend of it with the horses. They then blew my friends away too. After that they were gone, I was gutted. Discovered them late and never really had time to see them as much as i would have liked. Hoping for a reunion though along with everybody else. Also have to be honest and say i was not so keen on the Apeman Spaceman stuff, Sorry boys, prefered the raw energy of Dogs. Unfortunately i think i lost any photo’s i had of the gigs when my Facebook was hacked and deleted. So here’s to the future with fingers well and truly crossed.
